The People and Organisational Development team supports the University to achieve sustainable change, we work with Divisional Registrars and Heads of Service areas to establish priorities.
Below are examples of the type of Organisation Design support POD provides:
- Enabling alignment of organisational structures, with strategy and future long-term plans (e.g., team ways of working, culture, practices etc).
- Consultancy where recent incremental changes drive a need to strategically re-visit the organisation design / operating model
- Consultancy advice about high level organisation design principles and how to use these to inform decisions about the design and culture of a department / team
- Design and facilitation of workshops to establish professional communities, enable cross-functional working (i.e., to break down silos), establish new ways of working, develop new approaches to shared problems and enable the design and implementation of organisation design changes.
