POD wants to support you during this Coronavirus crisis and, while we are currently unable to offer face-to-face learning, we have continued to look out for remote learning opportunities that may be of interest as well as designing a number of virtual workshops and webinars to meet organisational need. Our upcoming online workshops can be found below.
Many of you will be taking part in our programmes in Michaelmas term, and you will be contacted by our admin team by 17th July if you have a place. We are very much looking forward to seeing you, and especially to the day when we can all meet face to face again. However, having followed the guidance and assessed the requirements in terms of space, cleaning and staffing, we have concluded that the best approach is to provide our programmes and workshops online as standard for the remainder of 2020.
In time we hope to be able to provide a flexible combination of socially distanced face-to-face workshops, for those who are able to attend in person, and online workshops to meet the needs of those whose circumstances, own health, or caring responsibilities prevent them from attending in person.
Our eLearning page pulls together a range of self-access courses, guides and toolkits, all of which can be accessed from home at a time that works for you. The University also has a subscription to LinkedIn Learning where you can access a variety of online learning for free.
If you have any questions or suggestions for how POD can best support you during this difficult period, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
