Personal development covers the core transferable skills that we need to be effective at work. Being organised, communicating effectively, building and maintaining constructive working relationships and influencing and networking are just some examples of core transferable skills.

|Oxford Personal Development Programme (OPDP)
Face to face 3 days
|This programme is for staff who are at a point in their career or personal lives where they would like to reflect on their achievements, consider opportunities and develop confidence in reaching new goals. We offer two versions of this personal development programme, programmes for women only and programmes open to all staff, and OWDP.
|Workplace coach programme
Face to face 4.5 days
|Members of staff who are interested in developing coaching skills in order to be able to coach colleagues in the University on a 1:1 basis following completion of the programme. This course will be of interest to those who enjoy facilitating others’ learning and problem-solving, and who would like to add coaching to their professional or managerial toolkit.
