DIY personal development

By ‘personal development’ we mean the skills and knowledge that are our core, transferable skills, useful in a number of roles. We have created this toolkit based on the skills that Oxford staff tell us are vital to their effectiveness. We have grouped these skills under six headings below.

If you are interested in creating your own personal development plan then we have created a short self-diagnosis tool to:

  • help you identify your priorities for learning
  • signpost self-help resources you can draw on to help you develop your skills in a specific area.

Or you can simply browse below to see what interests you.

To access all LinkedIn Learning resources you will need to click on the link below and sign in using your Single Sign-On credentials. Once you have done this you will then be able to click on the course links on our website to take you to our LinkedIn Learning selection.

Having trouble or have a question? Visit the IT Learning Centre FAQs.

* Access LinkedIn Learning and sign in using your SSO. Then revisit our website for direct links to courses.
